Bowman Insurance Group Completes SBA 504 Loan for Headquarters Purchase

Hershey, Pa. – August 2025 – CREDC continues to help small businesses grow through SBA 504 financing, which enables entrepreneurs to buy real estate, build equity, and strengthen their presence in the community.

Recently, CREDC finalized an SBA 504 loan for Bowman Insurance Group (operating as Big Risk Partners, LLC) to purchase its office building at 1120 East Chocolate Avenue in Hershey, Dauphin County.

A Strategic Move for Long-Term Growth

The project allowed Bowman Insurance Group to move from its former location in Palmyra, Lebanon County, and establish permanent ownership of its new Hershey headquarters. This move provides long-term stability and shows the company’s commitment to serving clients across Central Pennsylvania.

In addition, the new location offers room for growth and better access to customers in the region. By owning their space, the business can reinvest in operations and continue expanding their team.

Strong Partnerships Power Success

The U.S. Small Business Administration approved the project on May 21, 2025. CREDC partnered with Seedcopa to guide the application process and secure permanent financing alongside Orrstown Bank, which served as the third-party lender. Together, these partners ensured a smooth and timely closing.

Building Stronger Local Businesses

Through the SBA 504 program, CREDC helps small businesses gain financial stability and create lasting community impact. These projects encourage ownership, job growth, and regional investment—key steps in strengthening Central Pennsylvania’s economy.
