The Capital Region Economic Development Corporation is seeking nominees for the organization’s board of directors. Both self-nominations and nominations of your colleagues are welcomed. Upon receipt of a nomination, the Nominating Committee will review candidate qualifications.
We welcome and encourage all interested candidates to apply for a board position. In keeping with our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive board that reflects the communities and members we serve, our Nominating Committee is particularly interested in candidates who complement the existing slate of directors by possessing one or more of the qualifications listed below. These qualifications help ensure a broad range of perspectives, skills, and experiences on our board, though they are NOT mandatory or exclusive for consideration.
- Skills & Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Marketing/Public Relations
- Talent Acquisition
- Legal
- Government Relations
- Sales
- Real Estate
- Risk Management
- Represent a business in one of the following industries:
- Real Estate, Rental & Leasing
- Health Care
- Manufacturing
- Leisure/Hospitality
- Utilities
- Transportation
- Warehousing
- Represent a business with one of more of the following demographics:
- More than 50 FTEs
- Located in Cumberland or Perry Counties
- Woman-Owned, Minority-Owned, LGBTQ+-Owned and/or Veteran-Owned
- Reside in Cumberland, Dauphin or Perry Counties
