The Harrisburg Regional Chamber is seeking nominees for the organization’s board of directors. Both self-nominations and nominations of your colleagues are welcomed. Upon receipt of a nomination, the Nominating Committee will review candidate qualifications.
We welcome and encourage all interested candidates to apply for a board position. In keeping with our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive board that reflects the communities and members we serve, our Nominating Committee is particularly interested in candidates who complement the existing slate of directors by possessing one or more of the qualifications listed below. These qualifications help ensure a broad range of perspectives, skills, and experiences on our board, though they are NOT mandatory or exclusive for consideration.
- Skills & Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Human Resources
- DEIA
- Legal
- Fundraising
- Represent a business in one of the following industries:
- Architecture, Construction, Engineering
- Legal
- Leisure/Hospitality
- Manufacturing
- Real Estate
- Transportation
- Warehousing
- Utilities
- Retail or Wholesale Trade
- Represent a business with one of more of the following demographics:
- 50 or fewer FTEs
- 101-500 FTEs
- Located in Cumberland, Dauphin or Perry Counties
- Woman-Owned, Minority-Owned, LGBTQ+-Owned and/or Veteran-Owned
- Reside in Cumberland, Dauphin or Perry Counties
