The Harrisburg Regional Chamber voiced strong support for the Crane Clean Energy Center at a recent U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission hearing.
This project presents a vital opportunity for Central Pennsylvania, bringing high-quality jobs, reliable clean energy, and long-term economic growth to our region.
President and CEO Ryan Unger spoke on behalf of the Chamber, advocating for initiatives that power progress across our communities.
“The Crane Clean Energy Center will bring jobs, investment, and talent to our region,” said Unger. “Four hundred of these high paying jobs are already in place, with more on the way. As our energy needs grow locally, across the Commonwealth and nationwide, I am confident the Crane Clean Energy Center will play a vital role in delivering carbon-free power to fuel our economic prosperity.”
About the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC
For 140 years, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC has served as the region’s catalyst for economic prosperity. The organization combines business, community, and economic development services to enhance the region’s vitality and livability. The Chamber & CREDC celebrates a storied history of being the catalyst that moves the city forward. The Chamber answered the call from Mira Lloyd Dock to lead the City Beautiful movement in 1900.
