CREDC Launches 2025–2027 Campaign at Inaugural Investors’ Impact Celebration

On May 15, CREDC hosted the inaugural Investors’ Impact Celebration at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, officially announcing the start of its 2025–2027 campaign. The event brought together investors, business leaders, and economic development partners to recognize the impact of their investment in the region’s continued growth.

Attendees enjoyed breakfast and networking in the DeSoto Lounge before moving to the Digital Cinema for a CREDC spotlight presentation and a fireside chat focused on Pennsylvania and the Capital region’s economic competitiveness.

The CREDC spotlight highlighted recent initiatives, outcomes, and the return on investment driven by past campaigns. It also set the stage for the 2025–2027 campaign, outlining the next phase of work aimed at supporting business attraction, retention, and regional development.

Ryan Unger, President & CEO, Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC shared, “The Investors’ Impact Celebration was not only a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished; it was a launchpad for what’s next. The 2025–2027 campaign represents our continued commitment to building a stronger, more competitive region. None of this is possible without the vision and investment of the leaders who believe in our mission.”

Building on strong momentum, CREDC officially launched its three-year capital campaign by celebrating the progress already made. In the early months of 2025, before the public campaign announcement, CREDC’s volunteer Capital Campaign Committee and staff had already secured more than 50% of the fundraising goal.

With less than half of the goal remaining, CREDC highlighted its impact in 2024 and over the past 24 years. For every dollar invested during that time, CREDC returned $72 to the region’s economic prosperity. Since 2001, CREDC’s work has secured more than $348 million in public funding for 532 projects. These projects created or retained nearly 19,000 jobs and produced an economic impact of $813 million.
