HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) announced the recent closing of two impactful loan projects: an SBA 504 loan for Tikka Shack Indian Grub in Hershey, Dauphin County, and a Pennsylvania Catalyst Loan Fund loan for ThriveFitCo. in Camp Hill, Cumberland County. These projects reflect CREDC’s commitment to boosting local economic vitality and supporting community-focused business ventures.
CREDC Supports Culinary Growth with Tikka Shack SBA Loan
Tikka Shack Indian Grub brings a vibrant dining experience to downtown Hershey, blending traditional Indian flavors with a modern, casual ambiance. The total project cost was $2,114,816, with the SBA 504 loan contributing $620,000 toward the renovation of an existing commercial space. The project closed on Sept. 10, 2024, in partnership with M&T Bank.
CREDC worked with the South Eastern Economic Development Company of Pennsylvania to facilitate the SBA 504 loan, providing localized support for businesses navigating federal loan processes. Since opening in April, Tikka Shack has energized Hershey’s dining scene, offering a distinctive culinary destination for locals and visitors alike.

ThriveFitCo. Advances Wellness with PA Catalyst Loan Fund Support
ThriveFitCo., a fitness studio located in Camp Hill, has become a wellness hub for the community. The total project cost was $276,330, with the PA Catalyst Loan Fund providing $129,500 to support the purchase and renovation of an existing property. This transformation brings founder Ashley Mentzer’s vision of accessible fitness, group classes, and nutrition coaching to life.
The project closed on Sept. 13, 2024, with support from First National Bank. This loan marked the final allocation of State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) funds available through the PA Catalyst Loan Fund, a collaboration spearheaded by CREDC and regional partners to promote community-focused economic growth.
