On November 15th, CREDC (Capital Region Economic Development Corporation) and its partners, including the County of Berks Economic Community and Development, EDC of Lancaster County, Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation, and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber/CREDC, successfully concluded their second summit, with a specific focus on municipal leaders from Berks, Lancaster, and Perry counties. This summit provided an invaluable platform for these leaders to discuss the recently approved South Central Pennsylvania Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and its potential impact on local economic development.
Looking ahead, CREDC is excited to announce an upcoming third summit tailored for municipal leaders in Adams, York, and Franklin counties. This forthcoming event will continue the collaborative dialogue on regional economic strategies, emphasizing the importance of municipal engagement and cooperation in shaping the economic landscape of the broader South Central Pennsylvania region. CREDC remains dedicated to fostering these discussions to drive positive outcomes for communities across the nine-county area.
