The Capital Region Economic Development Corporation is seeking nominees for the organization’s board of directors. Both self-nominations and nominations of your colleagues are welcomed. Upon receipt of a nomination, the Nominating Committee will review candidate qualifications.
While any candidate may apply, to further our commitment to a diverse board that reflects the communities and members we serve, ideal candidates may have one or more of the following qualifications:
• Skills & Experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Marketing/Public Relations
o Talent Acquisition
o Legal
o Government Relations
o Fundraising
o Real Estate
o Risk Management
o Strategy Development
• Represent a business in one of the following industries:
o Education
o Insurance
o Leisure/Hospitality
o Professional/Business Services
o Real Estate
o Retail or Wholesale Trade
• Represent a business with one of more of the following demographics:
o Fewer than 10 or more than 50 FTEs
o Located in Cumberland, Dauphin or Perry Counties
o Woman-Owned, Minority-Owned, and/or Veteran-Owned
• Reside in Cumberland, Dauphin or Perry Counties
Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by a community member. All nominees must be an employee of a member in good standing of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber.
