HARRISBURG, PA (May 3, 2023) The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) is pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) approved financing for a breeder house project to be constructed in Juniata Township, Perry County.

The project, being undertaken by Glenn & Bethany Martin, involves the construction of a 42’x600’ breeder house to breed chickens which will produce fertilized eggs supplying Longenecker’s Hatchery.

“We are thrilled to receive approval for the PIDA loan and look forward to the successful completion of the breeder house,” said Glenn Martin. “This loan will allow us to expand our operations and provide customers with the highest quality fertilized eggs.”
