Wohlsen Construction Company Announces Additions of Project Manager & Superintdents

LANCASTER, PA (January 17, 2018) – Due to continued growth in the Central Pennsylvania region, Wohlsen Construction Company is pleased to announce the addition of a project manager and two superintendents to the Wohlsen team. These construction professionals will be tasked with leading the team both on and off the field on Wohlsen’s recently awarded projects.

Steven M. Davis joined Wohlsen as a project manager for Wegmans Food Markets project. He has over 16 years of experience in the construction industry, is a LEED Green Associate, and is Healthcare Construction Certified by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). He will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of his projects. He has a track record of completing several successful projects in a variety of markets for senior living, educational, and commercial clients. Davis earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and lives in York, PA.

Charles W. Zetterman joins the team as superintendent for the Village of Olde Hickory project, continuing his nearly thirty-year-long career in the construction industry. Having completed several successful multi-million-dollar apartment communities in the area, he brings valuable experience to the project’s team. In his role, Zetterman will initiate and monitor actions needed to optimize performance and assure on-time delivery of his projects while enforcing Wohlsen’s quality and safety standards. Zetterman lives in Stewartstown, PA, and serves as treasurer for the non-profit organization, The Growing Place.

Also joining the team is William A. Bendokas of Quarryville, PA, who will serve as the superintendent on various small projects with the company. With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, Bendokas began his career as a carpenter and quickly advanced up through the ranks as foreman and superintendent. His experience, leadership skills, and technical knowledge will enable him to successfully lead and direct the efforts in the field, solve unforeseen problems, and maintain the quality and safety standards of Wohlsen. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University and is a Journeyman-Certified craftsman.
