WHTM-TV (ABC), WTAJ-TV (CBS), WYOU-TV (CBS) AND WJET (ABC) TO HOST LIVE TOWN HALL MEETING WITH U.S. SENATOR BOB CASEY OF PENNSYLVANIA ON APRIL 19

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania – April 15, 2017 – Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. announced today that WHTM-TV (ABC), WTAJ-TV (CBS), WYOU-TV (CBS) and WJET (ABC) will host a live Town Hall meeting with United States Senator Bob Casey on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. EDT. “This Week in Pennsylvania: Senator Bob Casey Town Hall” will be produced by Nexstar before a live audience of local voters in four Pennsylvania markets including, Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York (DMA #43), Wilkes Barre-Scranton (DMA #56), Johnstown-Altoona-State College (DMA #104) and Erie (DMA #150). Pennsylvania residents interested in attending the Town Hall meeting may contact their local Nexstar station (details below).
To facilitate an engaging and dynamic discussion between local voters and Senator Casey, the Town Hall will be moderated by leading local Pennsylvania news anchors and journalists Dennis Owens of WHTM-TV, John Clay of WTAJ-TV, Andy Mehalshick of WYOU-TV and Sean Lafferty of WJET-TV. In addition to taking questions from the stations’ respective live local studio audience, questions will also be accepted via social media for local viewers who are unable to attend the meeting in-person. The combined resources of Nexstar’s local Pennsylvania station operations in four markets will deliver extensive Town Hall coverage across the state while bringing more opportunities for voters to ask Senator Casey questions about issues that are impacting local communities across the state.
