WHTM RECEIVES A 2015 REGIONAL EDWARD R. MURROW AWARD FROM THE RTDNA

HARRISBURG, PA   WHTM anchor Dennis Owens and photojournalist Eric Heisler have been announced as winners of a 2015 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting. “Connecting the Dots” was an investigative report Owens and Heisler produced about the influence of lobbyists at the State Capitol.

The Regional Television Digital Press Association awarded 673 2015 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards in 14 categories. The awards recognize achievement in journalism around the world produced by radio, television and online news organizations. WHTM competed against television station in three states including Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. An awards ceremony will be held in New York City on October 12, 2015.
