Water Resources Engineering Zane Geist Joins Skelly and Loy

Skelly and Loy recently hired Water Resources Engineer Zane E. Geist, EIT. Mr. Geist helps to prepare land development plans, NPDES permits, erosion and sediment control plans, and hydrologic and hydraulic calculations. He assists in field surveys, layout and design of wetland restoration and mitigation projects, and layout and design of water treatment systems.

Mr. Geist has experience with inspections of C-4 non-hazard dams, Chapter 105 permits, MS4 annual reports and Chapter 94 reports, calculations and design of pollution reduction plans, preparing engineer’s reports for public water supply permit applications, inspecting stormwater management facilities for land development projects, and assisting with drafting construction drawings and hydrologic modeling.

Mr. Geist earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals where he is currently co-chair of the Professionals Outreach Committee.
