The Salvation Army Harrisburg Welcomes New Resource Development Director, Toni Lynn Mark!

Working in fundraising and philanthropic efforts for over 10 years, Toni brings her successful track record to The Salvation Army Harrisburg Worship and Service Center at 506 S. 29th Street, Harrisburg. She will direct all philanthropic activity, including annual giving, major and planned gifts, solicitating and maintaining the funding needed for the annual operating budget, special event fundraising, Advisory Board relations and providing oversight to the Development Department.

Toni graduated from Penn State with a Master’s degree in Communication and a Bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Communication and Psychology. She has an excellent track record of mobilizing the support of donors and volunteers to create meaningful change and has played a critical role in many fundraising efforts, including in her most recent role as the Director of Development at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She also enjoys serving her community as a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Harrisburg and as a Kid Ministry leader at her church.

For 137 years The Salvation Army Harrisburg has been serving the needs of the local community. Programs and services include Food Assistance, Christmas Assistance for children, families and seniors, Workforce Development, Self-Sufficiency Case Management, Clothing and Shoe Vouchers, After School and Summer Youth Enrichment, Teaching Kitchen Nutrition Education, Utility Assistance, Senior Citizen visitation and Spiritual Services.
