The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC continues to monitor policy and business relief legislation at the state and federal levels, including phase III of Congress’ work to tackle COVID-19 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES), which was signed by the president and passed into law today.
At $2.2 Trillion Dollars, the stimulus package aims to provide financial relief for businesses, public institutions and individuals hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic through the expansion of unemployment benefits, small business loans, and direct cash payments to Americans.
