Current Focus: Paul serves as Finance Specialist for the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), the economic development arm of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber. Paul will take on a dynamic role within the organization becoming involved in all areas of economic development activities and contributing to aspects of CREDC’s business financing programs. The Business Financing arm of CREDC provides state and federal low interest loan programs to eligible businesses that are making a strong economic or community development impact in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. To do so the organization partners with the financial institutions in the region supply a portion of project costs at lower interest rates, giving borrowers the capacity and potential to make a larger impact on our community.
Professional Background: Prior to joining the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC team, Paul played an integral role in the creation and growth of a non-profit organization called Surf & Serve Inc. Paul was also heavily involved as a participant and later a leader in the Business Impact Venture Challenge at Messiah College. The IVC’s goal is to jump start business ventures of young entrepreneurs whose ideas create a positive community impact. Paul also was a leader in an economic development study program located in the town of Loreto, Mexico.
Education: Paul graduated from Messiah College with a B.S. Business Administration with a concentration in Finance degree in 2016.
Personal: Paul was born in raised in Virginia before moving to central Pennsylvania for college and to later join the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC team. Paul enjoys fly-fishing, surfing, soccer, and music.
