Current Focus: As Director of Communications & Outreach, Nicole will be the organization’s point of contact for all media and public relations. Additionally, Nicole will handle all aspects of the Chamber & CREDC’s internal and external communications while managing social media networks, media partnerships and community outreach opportunities. She is responsible for branding both the Chamber & CREDC within the region.
Professional Background: Nicole has been with the organization since 2002 where she began as a marketing intern and immediately hired as Business Marketing Specialist at the conclusion of her internship. In September of 2003, Nicole was promoted to Events Marketing Manager and in January of 2005 became the Director of Communications & Marketing. In September of 2010, Nicole was named Assistant Vice President of Communications & Marketing. After the birth of her first child in 2011, she decided to become a work-from-home mother and assist the organization in a public relations/marketing consulting role. In January of 2017, she returned to the organization part-time and is currently job sharing the position of the Director of Communications & Outreach with Christine Brindle.
Education: Nicole is a graduate of Bloomsburg University (cum laude) and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications. She is also a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management – a four-year non-profit leadership training program at Villanova University.
