Tim Lovelace, The Dove Brothers, Gold City, and The Baptones will appear at the 20th Annual Gospel Music Festival being held at the Mechanicsburg Middle School on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM.


As a nationally sought after comedian, musician and motivational speaker, Tim Lovelace has been described as the most versatile comedian on stage. His award-winning musical talents, coupled with his crystal clean humor have people of all ages laughing their ribs off.  Tim’s passion for life is contagious and effectual. He uses humor for a purpose – to motivate and inspire by sharing life lessons through his unique delivery. He is a masterful storyteller, and his heart for others always comes shining through.  Tim is one funny man who not only wants people to laugh, but most importantly to discover real joy and happiness for their journey of life!


In 1998 McCray Dove and his brother Eric, along with a school buddy and two other talented men started the multi- award winning Dove Brothers Quartet. In the fall of 2013, McCray thought it was time to take another step forward. He once again surrounded himself with some of the most talented singers and musicians.  Rooted in a firm foundation with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ they perform a variety of Southern Gospel, Country Gospel, positive country including their own style of praise and worship with high energy and tight harmonies that appeal to young and old alike. Songs that spread joy and love but most important the Good News!


     Gold City ’s name is synonymous with setting the standard for male quartets since their inception in 1980. Theirs is a stellar career with numerous number one songs, fan and industry awards, and prestigious honors. Yet this Alabama-based group remains down to earth, grounded in their southern roots, and committed to continuing their mission of delivering power packed four-part harmonies and singing songs that are meaningful, entertaining, inspiring and uplifting.  Now into their 34th year, legendary bass vocalist, 2013 Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame Inductee, and multi-award winning Tim Riley continues to anchor the group with his rich, deep and clear bass voice.  Each member of Gold City is talented and dedicated to sharing the good news of the gospel through songs with encouraging and challenging lyrics, presented in an exciting performance on stage. Each man is committed to moving forward and taking Gold City even further than it has gone before. Remaining true to the heritage of the legacy of the past 30-plus years, Gold City continues to build on the great foundation that has already been established.



The Baptones, hosts for the 20th consecutive year, a favorite local gospel group,

was formed in1959 out of the West Shore Baptist Church , in Camp Hill , PA.   Since

that beginning they have traveled through the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states

and have been featured in all night sings, retreats, auditorium concerts, churches of

almost every denomination and various service organizations. They have completed a

number of recording projects including “Guaranteed for Life”, “The Baptones”, “He’s

All I Need” and most recently “Never Thirst Again”.


The concert, which will benefit the Bethesda Mission of Harrisburg, PA will be

held at the Mechanicsburg Middle School auditorium located at 1750 S. Market Street ,

Mechanicsburg , PA. The concert begins at 6:00 PM.
