Skelly and Loy is pleased to announce the promotion of Brent A. Sapen to Director of Civil Engineering.
Brent joined Skelly and Loy in May 1987 after obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology from The Pennsylvania State University. Brent’s experience with the company has been in the field of civil engineering and design (where most of his project experience related to the preparation of land development plans for many commercial, residential and industrial development projects) as well as acid mine drainage passive treatment system site designs. Brent has also been involved with various zoning applications, site surveying, core drilling and sampling, erosion and sedimentation control designs, foundation and retaining wall designs, bituminous and cement concrete pavement designs, and the designs of wetland habitat mitigation projects.
“We’re all very proud of Brent’s accomplishments during his tenure with Skelly and Loy and look forward to the benefit of his leadership of our civil engineering staff,” remarked Gerald W. Longenecker, P.E., Skelly and Loy Principal and Executive Vice President of Engineering.
