Sara H. Woida is a Senior Water Resources Engineer, responsible for technical investigation, analysis of various detailed studies, and preparation of deliverables related to green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), MS4 programming and permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling, environmental site design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, permitting and plan review, and construction inspection and oversight. Beyond technical work, Ms. Woida is working with management and peers to develop and execute business development, strategic and operational initiatives, and growth strategies for providing water resources services for the firm.
Ms. Woida earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and holds a Master of Science degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professional Associations of which she is a member include American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI), American Society of Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), and American Water Resources Association (AWRA). She has been bestowed with several professional awards including the 2015-2019 USACE Pittsburgh District Stellar Performer; 2012 Chairman’s Award, Federal Executive Board, Pittsburgh Chapter; 2011 Federal Woman of the Year, Silver Award, Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board; and, 2011 National Park Service Star Award.
