Saxton & Stump, a Pennsylvania-based law firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen J. Fleury, Jr., Esq.as an Associate who focuses his practice in Labor and Employment Law, Post-Acute Care, and Healthcare Litigation.
Stephen has experience representing employers and insurers in state and federal courts with claims pertaining to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. In addition, he has represented clients before the Department of Labor and Industry in matters involving workers’ compensation and unemployment benefits.
Stephen earned his J.D. from Dickinson School of Law and B.A., cum laude, from Dickinson College. During law school, he served as Articles Editor and Iqbal Symposium Coordinator for the Penn State Law Review. He was a recipient of the Annual Editor-in-Chief’s Award.
Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Stephen was an Associate at Devine Law Offices. Early in his career, he served for over four years as Assistant Defender in the Major Trial Unit at the Defender Association of Philadelphia where he tried over 100 cases to verdict.
