James W. Saxton was recently featured as one of the most influential people in central Pennsylvania by the region’s premier business publication. The inclusion recognizes the past six years of remarkable growth by Saxton & Stump as the firm has expanded from a group of respected medical professional liability defense litigators and consultants to a full-service law firm providing legal and business services to a wide range of industries.
“My colleagues and I started this firm with friendship, great chemistry and mutual respect,” Saxton said. “It has been rewarding to see our growth fueled by the many creative leaders we have brought into the firm, their innovation and their ability to find solutions for their clients.”
Saxton sees this recognition as a result of the tremendous effort by his co-founders, partners, attorneys and business professionals. The firm has tripled over the past six years and now includes over 100 business professionals and over 50 attorneys. Together, they provide legal and consulting services to businesses and individuals and have created separate entities for the purpose of offering comprehensive professional services that enhance the firm’s ability to support clients.
CPBJ’s list is a group of lawmakers, business leaders, educators and public servants who build, influence and shape the community. The full Power 100 list is not ranked, but listed alphabetically and includes governors, senators and local office holders, CEOs, university presidents, entrepreneurs and well-known regulators.
