PPO&S Garners “Best of Show” at Service Industry Advertising Awards

Harrisburg, Pa (April 19, 2016) —The Partnership of Packer, Oesterling and Smith, Inc. (PPO&S) was recently recognized in the Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) with a total of 9 awards, including a Best of Show recognition – one of only five awarded nationally.

This year’s panel of judges recognized the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority’s (IFPA) new integrated campaign, “See How They Lie” with Best of Show for outstanding creativity. The same campaign also won a Gold Award in the Integrated Marketing category.

Work done on behalf of Pierson Computing Connection also received a Gold Award for various trade show items, while a Silver Award was presented for SpiriTrust Lutheran’s new branding introduction brochure.

Other Silver Awards were presented to PPO&S for banners and a video announcing the agency’s recent move, as well as for the integrated marketing campaign prepared for the YWCA Greater Harrisburg “In A Pinch” initiative. Work for the UniqueSource website received a Bronze Award, while Awards of Merit were presented for Versant Strategies’ new website and digital ads for SpiriTrust Lutheran.

The ‘Best of Show’ is particularly exciting in that we’ve once again demonstrated that we can re-invent a long-term client and keep them on the cutting edge of their marketplace.”

The Service Industry Advertising Awards began in 2003 to recognize the advertising excellence within the service industry. More than 1,700 entries were received from across the country and a national panel of judges evaluated and rated the entries. The judges awarded five Best in Show Awards, 136 Gold Awards, 88 Silver Awards and 60 Bronze Awards. A national panel of industry specialists reviews each piece, judging creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application and innovation of content.
