HARRISBURG, PA (June 13, 2017) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (Chamber & CREDC) announced today that 2201 NFS LLC, a related Real Estate Holding Company for Kurowski & Wilson, LLC, closed yesterday on an Enterprise Zone loan to renovate King Mansion at 2201 North Front Street in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
CREDC provided a $325,000 Enterprise Zone Loan to be used towards improvements on the 2nd floor of the mansion which will support the relocation of Kurowski & Wilson, LLC. The company, also known as K&W Engineers & Consultants, will move 10 full time jobs into the City of Harrisburg. CREDC’s financing leverages another $1.8 million bank financing provided by Orrstown Bank and equity as part of a total project which consists of the purchase and improvements to this property.
Founded by J. Marc Kurowski and Tom Wilson in 2005, K&W has grown from a two-person shop to a group of 10 professionals. From concept to completion, K&W coordinates and integrates all site design and related services to complete construction projects. The company’s services center on six primary areas including site planning & design, civil engineering, landscape architecture, land survey, permitting and regulatory agency approvals, & municipal engineering. K&W will be renovating the 2nd floor of King Mansion to house their growing company. The first floor was recently leased by Sacaunas, another growing company in our region looking for a city presence and office space reflective of their drive and attractive to visitors.
