Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Recognizes Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz’s Gregory Blocker
As a 2021 PICPA Young Leader Award Recipient
Gregory A. Blocker, CPA, MBA, Manager at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF), was recently announced as one of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (PICPA) 2021 PICPA Young Leader Award recipients. Greg and the other honorees will be recognized during PICPA’s Leadership Conference in Harrisburg on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
“Greg is a rising young leader within our Firm, diligently serving his clients and team, as well as the PICPA and local accounting community,” said Ken Wolfe, President & Managing Principal at BSSF. “He is very well-deserving of the PICPA Young Leader Award, and we are proud and excited to celebrate him at the PICPA’s Leadership Conference in September.”
The PICPA Young Leader Award recognizes members under the age of 40 who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through active participation in the PICPA, as well as within their communities.
Greg has over seven years of experience providing tax preparation and planning services to businesses and individuals. He is heavily active with the PICPA and serves on both the PICPA’s State Tax Committee and Federal Tax Committee. Additionally, Greg serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching accounting and business courses at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC).
In addition to being recognized during PICPA’s Leadership Conference in September, the 2021 Young Leaders will also be featured in the fall 2021 issue of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal and on the PICPA website.
