Harrisburg, PA (April 26, 2016) – Centric Bank is pleased to announce that its President and CEO, Patricia A. Husic, has been named an award recipient of the 2016 Women of Influence awards.
Ms. Husic was selected as one of the top nominees by the judges for her leadership and achievements within Centric Bank, her community and the banking industry.
“I was pleased to nominate Patti for the 2016 Women of Influence Award,” said Chuck Ferry, Chairman of Rhoads & Sinon LLP. “Patti’s leadership and work ethic with regard to Centric Bank and her community service made her a prime candidate for the award.”
In March 2007, Husic led a team of shareholders to acquire and establish Centric Bank and Centric Financial Corporation. Centric Bank has grown to $390 million in assets at the end of the first quarter of 2016 and recorded record profits and growth in 2015. For four years, Centric Bank has been named one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania.
Husic was the visionary, founder and implementer of the Women in Banking program for the Pennsylvania Bankers Association as the third female chair in the Association’s 119-year history. She continues to serve as Chair of the PBA’s Women in Banking initiative. In 2015, Husic was honored with a ranking on American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Banking, alongside women representing much larger national financial institutions.
The Women of Influence awards recognizes 25 women leaders in the midstate who are influential in their companies, industries and communities, and have solid reputations based on their experience, integrity, leadership, and accomplishments.
As an award winner, Ms. Husic will be recognized at an event on Friday, June 24 at the Hilton Harrisburg, as well as in a publication to be inserted in the July 1 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
