Murray Associates Architects was awarded the commission for a new Terminal Building for The Williamsport Municipal Authority. The existing airport terminal building was constructed in 1947 and has undergone several renovations since that time. The building currently has substantial deficiencies and no longer adequately serves current or future aviation related service and facility needs. The new airport terminal, estimated at 50,000 sq ft and estimated to cost $9.5 million, will implement current TSA mandated safety requirements.
Benedict Dubbs, Principal of Murray Associates Architects, said “We are extremely pleased to continue our 25 year relationship with the Williamsport Community and are very excited to assist the Williamsport Municipal Authority”.
