MURRAY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS HONORED TO ASSIST THE SALVATION ARMY HARRISBURG CAPITAL CITY REGION AS A RECIPIENT FOR A G-3 GRANT AWARD

Harrisburg, PA, June 28, 2016 – Murray Associates Architects Team, including H. Edward Black and Associates, was honored to assist the Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region for a “Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Town” (G-3) Grant Awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with Maryland’s Department of Natural Resources. The Salvation Army hosted the announcement for the Pennsylvania award recipients at their site on 29th Street and Rudy Road, for their new 42,000 square foot Worship and Community Center. The Salvation Army received nearly $30,000 for the development of a stormwater management system at the new facility. The new site will also include walking paths, rain and vegetable gardens.
