More storage space to build more storage space

Solution Designers, LLC, a California Closets franchise based in Mechanicsburg, PA, will soon move to a bigger home and manufacturing facility in Harrisburg. Solution Designers designs, manufactures and installs custom storage solutions for every need imaginable, from garage storage, food pantries, laundry rooms, bedrooms and closet spaces. Solution Designers can create looks for any decorative style like contemporary, traditional, transitional and modern using a variety of materials from wood, plastics, metals and more. Solution Designers customizes and builds all the storage components needed to make your space more organized.

And now, Solution Designers will have an even larger space to design its custom products. With the support of CREDC, the company has completed its loan process which provided $359,900 to purchase a commercial/industrial building of 10,929 square feet, which will serve as its new operating headquarters.

“This was my first experience in dealing with CREDC as well as my first time in purchasing commercial real estate. Melissa Stone and the CREDC team were extremely helpful in guiding me through the entire process,” explained Jeff Orr, owner and manager of Solution Designers. “Their patience, guidance and professionalism helped to keep the entire process on track and on schedule. The financing options afforded me through the Commonwealth Loan Program made it much easier to purchase the property. But more importantly, the terms of the loan allowed me to confidently invest in additional equipment and personnel. All of these investments will result in California Closets of Central PA having a more efficient production process and a beautiful new showroom. Both of which will mean an even better overall experience for our customers.”

Upon relocating to the Harrisburg facility, Solution Designers expects to grow at an even faster pace. With high visibility along Route 322 and a larger manufacturing space to accept more work orders, this new location will not only double its space, it will support  additional installation staff and new relationships with builders and contractors.
