Mid Penn Bank Introduces Agricultural Lending Program and Hires Specialized Agricultural Lenders

HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 1, 2016) – Mid Penn Bank is announcing that it has introduced a special agricultural lending program as an enhancement to its line of products and services. Through its agricultural lending services, the bank is able to offer operating loans, equipment loans, real estate loans and more to farmers within the bank’s service area.
The bank has hired two experienced agricultural lenders, Stanley P. Michonski and Jeffrey J. Myers, to lead the bank’s efforts in agricultural lending.
“I am pleased to welcome Stan and Jeff to the Mid Penn Bank team,” said Chief Lending Officer Scott Micklewright. “Our agricultural lending program will enable Mid Penn to fulfill a very important lending need in the communities we serve. I have every confidence that with their experience and backgrounds, Stan and Jeff will prove to be a valuable asset to our customers.”
Serving as vice president and senior agricultural lender, Michonski has more than 40 years of financial services experience. He was previously an agricultural lender at National Penn Bank. Michonski holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the East Donegal Township Agricultural Security Board and serves as a consultant in church mediation/conflict for SEA Ministries.
Also serving as vice president and senior agricultural lender, Myers has more than 10 years of financial services experience. He was previously a loan officer for AgChoice Farm Credit. Myers holds an MBA from Iowa State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from York College of Pennsylvania. He is a board member for the South East Asia Prayer Center.
