Members 1st Federal Credit Union recently received results from the Small Business Administration regarding loan level statistics on Paycheck Protection Program loans. The credit union is happy to share that they were ranked #9 in the country for number of loans funded in amounts of $150,000 and above for credit unions.
Over the past few months, Members 1st was able to help over 1,600 businesses through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program. For those business members that needed assistance of $150,000 or more, the credit union was able to fund 158 loans. This is in addition to working with businesses who needed assistance and solutions outside of the PPP program to get through these tough economic times.
“We know these times have not been easy for so many small business owners,” says President & CEO George Nahodil. “We live in a resilient community and we are so grateful to our member-owners for their trust in us and the opportunity to serve them financially during this difficult time.”
The credit union’s branch lobbies across seven counties in Central PA are now reopened and operating in a new way with enhanced safety measures in place. These measures will assist in continuing to protect the health and safety of its members, associates and communities.
