McKonly & Asbury Announces Promotions

McKonly & Asbury is excited to announce the promotions of seven of our team members! We are fortunate to have some of the best and brightest talent in Pennsylvania working for us and we are proud to have them as part of the McKonly & Asbury team. Please join us in congratulating them!
Joining our principal group is Jim Shellenberger, CPA. Jim joined McKonly & Asbury in 2002 and is a key leader in the firm’s attest department, primarily serving nonprofit organizations and real estate clients. Jim is also a member of the firm’s Audit and Accounting committee and guides the department’s training curriculum. Jim is an active member of the community, serving and volunteering for several nonprofit organizations. He is a past president and current board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA, is an active member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, has completed The Foundation for Enhancing Communities’ Emerging Philanthropist Program, and is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg Area’s Community Leadership Series. He also serves on the statewide not-for-profit committee of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, coaches youth sports, and is an active member of his church.
One team member was promoted to Manager:
Charles Eisenhart, CPA – Charles joined McKonly & Asbury in 2015. As a member of the firm’s tax department, he specializes in tax compliance and consulting for corporations, partnerships, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Charlie is an active member of his church, as well as an Eagle Scout.
Two team members were promoted to Supervisor:
Jessica Hutchinson – Jessica joined McKonly & Asbury in 2015. As a member of the firm’s attest department, she primarily works with clients in the manufacturing, construction, and healthcare industries as well as performing employee benefit plan audits.
Kelly Spandra, CPA – Kelly joined McKonly & Asbury in 2013. As a member of the firm’s tax department, she works primarily on S Corporation and Partnership returns, and serves a number of clients in the construction and affordable housing industries.
Three team members were promoted to Senior Accountant:
James Krimmel, CPA – James joined McKonly & Asbury in 2014. As a member of the firm’s attest department, he primarily works with clients in the healthcare, nonprofit, and affordable housing industries. He is also a member of the firm’s Audit and Accounting Committee.
Colleen Crider – Colleen joined McKonly & Asbury in 2014. As a member of the firm’s tax department, she works primarily on C Corporation and Partnership returns, and is also a member of the firm’s Affordable Housing team. Active in the community, Colleen is a mentor with Lancaster Chamber’s Women in Business Mentor Program.
Lindsey Waltemyer, CPA – Lindsey joined McKonly & Asbury in 2014. As a member of the firm’s tax department and state and local tax (SALT) practice, she specializes in consulting for state and local tax issues, as well as compliance and tax planning for corporations and partnerships in various industries.
