Maxwell, Odoom and Severa Join F&M Trust

(CHAMBERSBURG, PA) F&M Trust announces the following new hires:

Joe Maxwell

Joe Maxwell, CFA; Vice President, Investment and Trust Services Relationship Manager

Maxwell has joined F&M Trust with over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry and was most recently employed as a Portfolio Manager for Key Private Bank in New Haven, Connecticut. In his role with F&M Trust, he will provide investment, trust, administration, estate planning and retirement planning services to individuals and businesses in the Carlisle area. Maxwell is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a graduate of Yale University. He has served the community as a volunteer coach for various soccer, baseball and softball teams and recently relocated to the Carlisle area to be to closer his family. Maxwell will be based at the F&M Trust Community Office located at 1901 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.

Kofi Odoom; Credit Analyst

Odoom joins the bank with a background in insurance, sales and finance. Prior to joining F&M Trust, he was self-employed as a freelance business professional working with organizations in the areas of financial reporting and analysis, operational improvements and business development strategies. Odoom is responsible for completing analyses and assessments with regard to credit for prospective and current F&M Trust commercial customers. A graduate of Iowa State University, he holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and was the President of the Finance Club at the university.

Frank Severa, Jr., CPA; Commercial Credit Recovery Officer

Severa joins F&M Trust with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was a Vice President with the Asset Resolution Group of BB&T in Hunt Valley, MD. In his role as Commercial Credit Recovery Officer, Severa is responsible for managing F&M Trust’s legal, financial and reputation risk associated with collection of the commercial loan portfolio. He is a graduate Loyola College in Baltimore, MD where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Severa is a Certified Public Accountant and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, MD.
