After buying the iconic King Mansion last spring, Kurowski & Wilson Engineers, LLC (K&W) recently moved into their newly renovated headquarters.
Launched in 2005, K&W is a civil engineering and site design firm now located at 2201 North Front Street, Harrisburg. They are a team of fifteen consisting of a mix of civil engineers, landscape architects, land surveyors, and CAD designers and technicians who focus on land development work.
Most of K&W’s projects are located within a three hour radius of Harrisburg within the seven surrounding counties. They find a lot of its key markets in the institutional sector – healthcare, higher education, and K-12. K&W also found a niche into what they call K&W Performance which is an athletic facilities design arm within the company. K&W Performance specializes in anything from synthetic turf, tennis courts, and bleachers all the way up to entire stadium projects.
The K&W team is excited about the iconic new location on Front Street, the proximity to the river, and a modern workplace with an open office feel including low desk walls, sit/stand units, and high ceilings offering a great deal of natural light providing a collaborative atmosphere and energized workspace.
Marc Kurowski, principal and founder noted, “Our staff is completely stoked about being in the building!”
CREDC is proud to have worked with K&W and Orrstown Bank to see this project through and is excited to see the powerful results K&W will produce for the region!
