Katherine Granbois Named Chair of Saxton & Stump’s Business and Corporate Practice

Pennsylvania-based law firm Saxton & Stump has appointed attorney Katherine P. Granbois as Chair of the firm’s Business and Corporate group. In this role, Granbois will oversee client service and provide direction for the strategic growth of the rapidly-expanding practice area.

Granbois is active in the community, currently serving as Immediate Past Board Chair of the United Way of Lancaster County and Vice President of the Lancaster chapter of Daughters of Penelope. She also recently served as a mentor for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Women in Business mentoring program, fundraising chair of the Lancaster Youth Amateur Hockey League and volunteer for Assets of Lancaster.

She joined Saxton & Stump in January 2018 as shareholder and has more than 25 years of experience concentrated in corporate and business law. Earlier this year, Granbois was honored as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Women of Influence, which acknowledges business leaders for their community involvement and impact on the companies and industries in which they work.

Saxton & Stump’s Business and Corporate Law group assists clients on general business matters such as forming a new business, governance, debt and equity financing, commercial contracts, joint ventures, business succession and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The group works closely with the firm’s intellectual propertylabor and employmentreal estate and employee benefits and executive compensation attorneys as needed to ensure comprehensive yet practical advice that enables clients to achieve their business objectives.

Continued Growth for the Law Firm

Saxton & Stump has added 14 attorneys in addition to 10 business professionals and five major practice areas since January. The firm also continues to grow its geographic footprint. In the third quarter, the firm’s Harrisburg office tripled in size and the Lancaster office expanded by about 30 percent. Construction has recently begun to double the size of the Malvern location.
