Mr. John Harry Frank has been promoted to GIS Supervisor in our Harrisburg office. Mr. Frank has five years of GIS, environmental engineering, and consultation experience.
In his role, Mr. Frank performs Geographic Information Systems (GIS) management, analysis, and production; computer-aided drafting and design (CADD); environmental assessments, impacts analysis, and modeling hydraulic, hydrological, water quality, and traffic noise variables. He is proficient in ESRI, Bentley Systems, Carlson, and Autodesk software as well as FHWA’s TNM 2.5, HEC-RAS, EPA’s SWMM 5, and HSPF.
Mr. Frank’s previous experience includes recreation planning and management, reforestation, highway drainage design, and attendance at public meetings and agency field views. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Planning with an Environmental Concentration from Towson University. He is certified by the Maryland Department of the Environment for Erosion and Sediment Control (Green Card #RPC008314); by Maryland State Highway Administration for Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card); and by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Conservation Service in HEC-RAS 2D-Water Surface Modeling.
