STOREROOM ASST

Job Description:
This position assists with receiving, storing and issuing all food and food-related items in the storeroom at The Hotel Hershey.

Job Functions:
•This position assists with receiving, storing and issuing all food and food-related items while maintaining a clean and orderly operation.
•Receiving and issuing requisitioned items from the storeroom
•Ensuring that food and related items are delivered to their areas prior to need
•Cleaning and maintaining all storeroom areas, including refrigerators, freezers, dry storage and receiving area
•Keeping food storage, dry goods and paper storage areas in excellent condition
•Assuring that all items are always in their proper place, and assisting in periodic inventories every month.

Basic Qualifications:
•Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Additional Qualifications:
•Ability to learn and use computers and PCs.
•Proven ability to communicate in English.
•Proven math skills.

Working Conditions:
•Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
•Flexible work schedule to include weekends.
•Must provide proper footwear.
