This position serves as the Labor and Utility Maintenance Supervisor of trades for Hersheypark, Historic Hersheypark Arena, Hersheypark Stadium, GIANT Center, and the Hershey Theatre.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

Oversee day-to-day operations and provide direct supervision of all cleaning of the buildings, grounds, parking lots, walkways, restrooms, and facilities located on the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex and at the Hershey Theatre, as well as all associated labor and ground tasks, snow removal, and recycling and refuse disposal on the complex.*
Prepare monthly work schedules and crew job assignments and adjust the crew schedule in absence of the manager. Monitor timecards by directing and overseeing overtime work and approving time off requests.*
Lead, support, coach, counsel, mentor, and develop front line staff in accordance with Entertainment Complex standards. Discuss employee performance with Shop Steward and Management.*
Order supplies required to complete an approved job assignment by purchasing parts or other materials on behalf of crew members in coordination with manager and/or MRO buyer.*
Identify any problems and/or potential health and safety hazards and implement procedures to take appropriate action and arrive at proper measures to correct. Ensure all employees follow safety policies and procedures.*
Participate in department Manager on Duty rotation, complete and document paperwork, and assist as needed or required with any aspect of property operations.*
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Industry Experience – Other
Industry Experience – Landscaping
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Completion of high school or GED

Additional Qualifications:

Working knowledge of all government regulations, ADA requirements, and OSHA regulations as they relate to areas of responsibility.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to handle conflict and solve problems with confidence, professionalism, and impartiality.
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information.
Post-Employment – Pesticide License
