This position supports the year-round operations of the Recreation Department. This position consists of supporting the operations in the department’s three key areas: Lifeguarding, Fitness, and Activities.

Prioritize the safety of guests at The Hotel Hershey while providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance in all Recreation operation areas.*
Oversee and enforce swimming pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.*
Organize and host a variety of family activities and events (bingo, s’mores roasts, Kids’ Club, etc.), engaging guests of all ages while ensuring the guests are safe.*
Monitor the safe use of the Fitness Center while maintaining Forbes standards for cleanliness and service.*
Assist recreation attendants with guest questions, concerns, or complaints through knowledgeable communication and problem solving. Follow up by phone as necessary to ensure resolutions have been met.*
Perform other duties as assigned.
18 years of age or older.
Post-Employment – Must attend and Complete Ellis Lifeguard Certification and First Aid & CPR provided and paid for by HE&R
Must have a valid Drivers’ License
Completion of high school or GED
Minimum of 1 years of related experience.
Industry Experience – Hospitality/Tourism
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
Post-Employment – Working knowledge of ResortSuite software.

The position is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100° for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
