This position is responsible for operation of the Tennis facility at Hershey Country Club.

This position may provide care, supervision, guidance, or control of children or may have regular, ongoing contact with children that is integral to the responsibilities of the position. As a result, in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Law, newly hired candidates are required to obtain the following clearances: a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse), and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI). Completed clearances are required to be submitted prior to starting employment.

Job Functions:

* Implementation of tennis and pickleball programs and socials for Club members
* Conducting tennis and pickleball lessons
* Supervising Club and USTA matches and social events
* Scheduling court play for events, matches and leagues.
* Implementation of additional racquet sports and activities at the tennis facility

Basic Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
* Must have 2-3 years coaching or teaching in a tennis program or similar experience.

Additional Qualifications:

* Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards guests and members.
* Must have good communications skills.
* USPTA or USPTR certification preferred

Working Conditions:

* Must be able to stand for long periods of time (duration of shift), walk, bend, reach, kneel.
* Requires flexibility in work schedule, ability to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays
according to operational demands
