Office Administrator Assistant
We are currently seeking a dynamic Office Assistant located in Harrisburg, PA. The Office Assistant along with the Head of Staff and Session oversee the areas of reception, program management, communication, administration, record and management and building use. 35 hours schedule from September thru May Mon-Fri 8:30AM-4:00PM 25 hours schedule from June thru August Mon-Fir 8:30-2:00PM. Salary $16-$20 DOE
Responsibilities of Office Administrative Assistant
Primary first contact in greeting visitors to the church office during the week.
Manages incoming calls and the phone system.
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Maintain a record of all worship bulletin covers ordered for special services, such as Christmas, Lent and Easter.
Ability to create special bulletin covers, as needed, using available software.
Create the worship Powerpoint
Maintain Church Program Calendar
Collect timesheets from hourly employees and submit payroll to Paysmart
Handle administrative tasks for church employees delegated by the Pastor, Personnel Committee or Session
Requirements of Office Administrative Assistant
High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of related experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to navigate computers and multitask
Ability to work independently or as a team
Benefits of Office Administrative Assistant
34 hours per week September to May and 25 hours per week June to August.
2 weeks of paid vacation (scheduled in advance through the Head of Staff).
Salary $16.00 – $20.00 per hour. DOE
