Harrisburg, PA (October 15, 2015) – Jessica E. Meyers, owner and president of JEM Group, a Harrisburg-based construction services firm, today made the following announcements:
– JEM Group completed a 40,000 sq. ft. renovation to the world headquarters of Harsco Corporation in Camp Hill, PA. The project was a complete renovation of the existing headquarters and was completed in 4 months, ahead of schedule. LSC Design of York, PA was the architect for the project.
– JEM Group recently completed the renovations of a 10,000 sq. ft. previously-vacant space on 7th Street in Harrisburg into the new offices and labs for Chemical Solutions, Ltd who provide Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and other trace elemental analysis. The project included the construction of a completely new state-of-the-art laboratory and new offices for the staff. By Design of Camp Hill, PA served as architect for the project.
– In early October, JEM Group began Phase I of a multi-phase project at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, Hershey, PA. The 238-room project encompasses full renovations and cosmetic improvements of all guestroom bathrooms in the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup wing and the Hershey’s Cocoa wing of the hotel. The project will be complete in early 2016.
JEM Group was recently hired to construction a new restaurant, V’RAI, in Lemoyne, PA. V’RAI, which is French for true, will provide organic, healthy, and “true food.” The restaurant will be open in January 2016. Visit www.vrairestaurant.com for updates.
JEM Group was recently awarded a project by the Capitol Preservation Committee to restore the historical State Law Library in the Forum Building of the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, PA. The project consists of the restoration and refinishing of the existing historic wood paneling with the collaboration of Conservator Johnson & Griffiths Studio, LLC of Harrisburg. Construction of a new reception desk will accompany the historical wood paneling along with electrical work and other aesthetic renovations to restore the Library. The project will be completed by the spring of 2016.
