Holy Spirit forensic consortium to focus on abuse, trafficking

Holy Spirit–A Geisinger Affiliate will host a forensic consortium focusing on child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking on Friday, Oct. 28. The day-long education session will begin at 8 a.m. in the Holy Spirit Hospital Auditorium, 503 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill.
Consortium speakers will include Pat Bruno, M.D., FAAP, Child Abuse Pediatrician at Geisinger Medical Center’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital; Teresa S. Olsen, M.Ed., Director of the Child Abuse Education Program at the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Pennsylvania chapter; Lori Frasier, M.D., pediatrician at the Penn State Hershey Child Protection Program and Medical Director at the Pinnacle Health Children’s Resource Center; Heather V. Rozzi, M.D., FACEP, Medical Director of the Forensic Examiner Team at the York Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine; and Sean M. McCormack, Chief Deputy District Attorney for Dauphin County.
The consortium is designed for health care professionals, social workers, counselors, law enforcement, and others who work with victims of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Continuing education hours are available.
