HARRISBURG, APRIL 27 – GK Visual, a local photography and video production company, will premiere its first feature-length documentary, Brewed in the Burg, about the greater Harrisburg area’s craft beer community on April 28 at Midtown Cinema, as part of Harrisburg Beer Week.

Co-Owner and Executive Producer Nate Kresge said his team partnered with Sara Bozich, with whom they co-produce the web series, What’s on Tap, to look deeper into local craft beer industry.

“The story of brewing in Harrisburg isn’t just about beer,” Kresge said. “It’s about the people and their passion for this craft and the strong community. Our team is proud to be able to tell this story.”

Brewed in the Burg will premiere with two showtimes at 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on April 28 at Midtown Cinema, 250 Reily St., Harrisburg. Both screenings sold out during pre-sales.

Additional show times will run at 8:45 p.m. on April 29, April 30 and May 1 at Midtown Cinema.

Kresge said the team began work on the documentary in January, and the runtime is just over one hour.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this team. Producing a feature length film in less than four months is no small feat. The GK Visual crew along with Sara rose to the occasion. We can’t wait to share what we’ve put together,” Kresge said.
