Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC, State Representative Patty Kim, and Dauphin County Department of Community & Economic Development to Host Two Business Services Expos

HARRISBURG (June 7, 2016) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (Chamber & CREDC), in collaboration with State Representative Patty Kim (D-103) and the Dauphin County Department of Community & Economic Development, is hosting two Business Services Expos which will highlight the various resources and services available to entrepreneurs here in south central Pennsylvania.
The events will be held on June 16, 2016 and June 23, 2016 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Hamilton Health Center (110 S. 17th Street, Harrisburg) and the Commonwealth Constables Association (801 S. Front Street, Steelton), respectively. Admission is free.
From writing a business plan to applying for a loan and understanding local government requirements to receiving the necessary approvals, the Business Services Expos will provide firsthand information on the regional and statewide resources available to new and expanding businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with exhibitors to learn how they can assist in making their entrepreneurial aspirations a reality.
“Whether it’s a small business in need of financing to expand, a company looking to move into the area, or a developer considering a major project, we’re here to help,” said Commissioner Jeff Haste. “This board of commissioners is committed to helping existing businesses grow and making it as easy as possible for new companies to come to Dauphin County.”
Commissioner Mike Pries agreed, “Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and we are committed to helping them prosper. We’re pleased to partner with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC and Representative Kim to host these free expos to connect business owners with valuable assistance and support to grow their businesses here.”
“Our goal is to remove barriers for new investment and offer assistance to business owners in order to strengthen our economy and quality of life,” explained Commissioner George Hartwick. “When we say that Dauphin County is open for business, we mean it.”
