HARRISBURG (February 5, 2016) — The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (Chamber & CREDC) will hold the Harrisburg Regional Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday, February 11th from 8am-10am at Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey (4650 Lindle Road, Harrisburg).

Dr. Jay Bryson, Wells Fargo Managing Director and Global Economist, will be the featured keynote speaker.  Dr. Bryson will provide insight into the global, national, and regional economic climate for the upcoming year, and will be available for questions from the media after the event concludes.

“The volatility in financial markets at the start of the year has raised concerns that the U.S. economy may be heading for recession,” stated Bryson during a recent interview.  “The concern seems to be that slower growth in some of America’s major trading partners could pull the U.S. economy down as well. However, spending of foreign economies accounts for only 10 percent of all the income that is generated in the country. Slower growth abroad could certainly pose some headwinds on the U.S. economy”

The cost to attend is $65 for Chamber & CREDC members and $90 for general admission.  To register or for more information, please visit www.HarrisburgRegionalChamber.org.
