HARRISBURG REGIONAL CHAMBER & CAPITAL REGION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (CREDC) ANNOUNCES
2017 BOARD OFFICERS
HARRISBURG (January 5, 2017) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) Board of Directors announced their 2017 Board Chairs. Jim Mooney will serve as Chair of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and Rick Seitz will serve as Chair of the CREDC Board of Directors for 2017.
Jim Mooney, CEO of Enginuity LLC, has been in the mechanical construction industry since 1982. In 2002, he, along with three partners, created Enginuity – a firm dedicated to designing, building and servicing mechanical systems for commercial and industrial clients.
Jim has served in leadership positions for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Dixon University Center, The Cumberland Valley Eagle Foundation, West Shore YMCA, the State Apprenticeship and Training Council, he coaches Cumberland Valley Boys Rugby, is the co-vice chair of the United Way Tocqueville Society and as Past President of the West Shore Country Club.
He and his wife, Phyllis, are empty-nesters and reside in a 200 year-old Hampden Township farmhouse with their two dogs.
Rick Seitz is President of Alexander Building Construction Co. He has spent the majority of his career working for the firms that are part of The Butz Family of Companies. He worked for R. M. Shoemaker Co. of Philadelphia, PA (now Shoemaker Construction Co.) from 1980-1996 in various roles of increasing responsibility including Project Manager, Estimator and Manager of Preconstruction Services. In 1996, Rick moved to Harrisburg to become Vice President of Preconstruction Services for Alexander, and was promoted to President in 2008. Rick has provided executive oversight on construction management projects valued at more than $1.5 billion. Rick and his wife Sue are natives of Johnstown and reside in Hampden Township.
