Harrisburg, Pa. (January 20, 2023)– The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC has announced today recent staff promotions and reorganizations.

Kara Luzik Canale has been promoted to Vice President of Strategy and Chamber Impact. Luzik Canale joined the Chamber & CREDC staff in 2017 as Vice President of Operations following nearly a decade in strategic communications agencies. In the new role, she leads the implementation and management of the organization’s new strategic plan and directs chamber operations to produce powerful results for the Harrisburg Region.

“Kara is a key leader that the Chamber staff and our members can rely upon and trust in,” said Ryan Unger, President & CEO of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. “She is an instrumental part in helping our Five-Star Chamber succeed in its mission to provide our members and our region with bold experiences and powerful results. Kara has been a great leader and role model for our team, and I am excited to see her thrive in this new role.”

In addition, Scott Rogers has assumed the role of Vice President of Finance & Administration.

Scott Rogers has served as the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC’s Director of Finance for nearly 10 years.  Rogers also serves as the Chamber’s Human Resources Manager. Rogers’ new title reflects his critical role in supervising the Chamber’s annual audits, annual budgets, and monthly financials, in addition to HR responsibilities.

“Scott is a cornerstone in helping the Chamber and CREDC’s operations move smoothly and effectively,” said Unger. “Scott is a leader and confidant who our members and staff can come to for many needs they may have.
