Greg Gunn of Gunn-Mowery, LLC named Chamber Board Chair, Casey Khuri of NAI CIR named CREDC Board Chair
Harrisburg, Pa. (February 1, 2022) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) Board of Directors are pleased to announce the organization’s 2022 Board Chairs and new board members. G. Greg Gunn of Gunn-Mowery, LLC will serve as the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors Chair and Casey Khuri of NAI CIR will serve as the CREDC Board of Directors Chair.
“Greg and Casey have demonstrated they have the bold and visionary leadership skills to help lead our team,” said Ryan Unger, President and CEO of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC. “We look forward to working with both of them to achieve our goals for 2022 and to continue to serve the businesses in our community.”
Gunn is the President/CEO at Gunn-Mowery, LLC. He received his Bachelor’s degree in the dual majors of Quantitative Business Analysis and Finance from Penn State University. Gunn manages overall operations with specific responsibilities for the commercial department and acquisitions. He also provides risk/insurance management and employee benefit support for many spectacular mid-market clients.
Gunn is Pennsylvania’s director for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) and serves on the board of LinkBank Foundation. He previously served as Chairman for The United Way of the Capital Region, Insurance Agents & Brokers (three state trade association), Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, the American Subcontractors Association of Central Pennsylvania, and Geisinger Holy Spirit Health System (Vice Chair).
He resides in Camp Hill with his wife Valerie, and they have three grown children, Nick, EJ and Marcellus.
“I am really excited about the honor of leading the Harrisburg Regional Chamber as its Board Chair for 2022,” Gunn said. “Gunn-Mowery has been fortunate to have had many mentors and cheerleaders as we have grown our organization over the years and almost all of those are chamber members. I want to make sure that the Chamber continues to educate and advocate for our area businesses and the tens of thousands of employees they engage. The Harrisburg Regional Chamber defines itself with bold leadership, visionary members, and powerful results so I want to get to work with my fellow members and prove that definition every day.”
Khuri is Vice President at NAI CIR, overseeing and managing the 50-year old, family-owned, commercial real estate business. Her role also includes creating and managing strategic and business development initiatives for brokerage teams. As a licensed Realtor, she assists clients with their commercial real estate needs throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining NAI CIR, Khuri was Assistant Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Metro Bank, her first job after graduating college. She began her banking career as a Commercial Credit Analyst in the Management Training Program in 2008. Khuri graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Real Estate. During her four-year collegiate career, she played for Temple’s Division 1 Women’s Soccer team.
Khuri is passionate about being engaged with the local community. She also serves as Board Member of the following Not for Profits: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region and The Whitaker Center. She is also Past President of Harrisburg Young Professionals (2015) and a trustee and member of The Hill Society. She lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband, Zack, two children, Jackson (4) and Scarlett (1), and rescue dog, Huey.
