Harrisburg Based H. B. McClure Company Closes on Enterprise Zone Loan

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (Chamber & CREDC) recently announced that South Seventeenth Street, LLC, for the benefit of employee owned H. B. McClure Company, closed on a $142,000 Enterprise Zone Loan through the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC).  H. B. McClure Company was founded in 1914 by Herbert Bassett McClure, who later incorporated the business in 1931.  Today, H.B. McClure Company is one of Central Pennsylvania’s most trusted HVAC servicers and installers offering heating and cooling systems installations, fuel oil delivery, and comprehensive service plans.

The loan proceeds were used to make roof improvements that were needed to their current location of 600 South 17th St. in the City of Harrisburg.  The CREDC loan leveraged another $333,000 from equity and bank financing provided by Fulton Bank.  The total financing package exceeded $475,000 and supported both real estate improvements and other fixed asset purchases.  The project demonstrates H. B. McClure’s commitment to investing in the Industrial Corridor of South Allison Hill.
